Family Car Service Questions
Is there a car service in NYC with car seats?
Yes. RideSoHo provides infant, toddler and booster seats in its cars across New York City, installed before you step in. Each seat is $10, requested when you book with each child’s age and weight, at least 24 hours before pickup.
How much is a child seat?
$10 per seat, added in the booking form.
Can I get a car with a car seat from JFK, LaGuardia or Newark?
Yes. Add the seats and your flight number when you reserve, and the car arrives with the seats already installed. Meet & Greet inside the terminal, for $25, helps when you are traveling with children and luggage.
What information do you need for child seats?
Each child’s age and weight, at least 24 hours before pickup, so the right seat is fitted for each child. If you change the pickup time, the vehicle and child seat cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate.
Which vehicle is best for a family?
An SUV. A Premium SUV or Cadillac Escalade seats six with five bags, with room for a stroller. Larger families travel in the Executive Sprinter, which seats fourteen.
Can my child ride alone?
No. A parent, guardian or other responsible adult rides with every passenger under 18. RideSoHo does not provide unaccompanied rides, school runs or childcare.
Can we keep the car for the day with the kids?
Yes. Hourly service in Manhattan keeps the same car and chauffeur with your family, from a two-hour minimum in a Premium Sedan and three hours in an SUV.
Do the cars have Wi-Fi and water for the children?
Every vehicle has phone chargers, Wi-Fi and premium bottled and still water. If you need Wi-Fi for the trip, add a note to your reservation.
How far ahead should I book a family trip?
At least 24 hours ahead, which is also the notice needed for child seats. For holidays and summer weekends to the Hamptons, book earlier.
