— The Service

Times Square Black car service to anywhere in NYC and the region.

RideSoHo’s Times Square car service provides private chauffeured transfers to and from any address within the Theater District and the wider Midtown core — in both directions. We serve every major hotel between 40th and 53rd Streets, every Broadway theater, every restaurant on Restaurant Row, and any residential or corporate address in the surrounding Midtown grid.

Times Square sits at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue, surrounded by more hotel rooms than any other neighborhood in the United States and the densest concentration of theaters in the world. It is the staging point for Broadway audiences, the home base for business travelers attending conferences in Midtown, and the launching point for return trips to JFK, LaGuardia, Newark Liberty, and Teterboro. Our service handles the logistics that come with the territory — pedestrian plaza closures along Broadway between 42nd and 47th, curtain-time congestion, Port Authority traffic, and the FDR / West Side Highway routing decisions that determine whether a JFK transfer takes 45 minutes or 90.

Pickups and drop-offs are handled to the same standard. Chauffeurs arrive 15 minutes before scheduled pickup as standard, with the vehicle staged at a designated low-friction pickup point — your hotel’s porte cochère, a cross-street off Broadway, or a pre-arranged corner clear of the pedestrian plazas. Live traffic monitoring chooses the cleanest route at the moment of departure — the FDR for downtown and JFK, the West Side Highway for the Lincoln Tunnel and Newark, the Queensboro for LaGuardia. All bridge and tunnel tolls are included in the flat rate — there are no surprise charges added at the end of the trip.

Why Ride Soho

A luxury chauffeur service built around three standards.

RideSoHo is a NYC TLC-licensed black car and chauffeur service operating from 230 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. Every Times Square transfer is held to the same three principles, applied universally across every reservation.

I — S U I T E D

NYC TLC-Licensed Chauffeurs

Every RideSoHo chauffeur is NYC TLC-licensed, has completed required background and licensing checks, and has multiple years of professional driving experience. Chauffeurs are familiar with the Theater District street grid, the rotating pedestrian-plaza closures along Broadway, every major hotel's pickup protocol, and the optimal routing options out of Midtown depending on time of day and destination — the Lincoln Tunnel for New Jersey, the Queens-Midtown for LaGuardia and JFK, the FDR for downtown and the Brooklyn-bound bridges.

I I — O N T I M E

Flight Monitoring & Punctuality

Chauffeurs arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled pickup as standard, with a vehicle staged at a low-friction location near your hotel or pickup address. For show-night reservations, departure timing is built backward from curtain — accounting for current Times Square pedestrian density and Broadway plaza closures. Driver details are sent 24 hours before pickup. On-demand pickups are dispatched live; expect 15–25 minutes during peak Midtown hours.

Clean Luxury Fleet, Upfront Pricing

Sedans and SUVs are detailed between every reservation. Cabins are quiet, climate-controlled, and stocked with bottled water and phone chargers. Wi-Fi is available on request. Flat rates are visible before checkout — all bridge and tunnel tolls included, no surge charges, no end-of-trip add-ons.

— TIMES SQUARE ZONES

Every Times Square address served.

The Theater District spans roughly 40th to 54th Streets between Sixth and Ninth Avenues, with the Broadway corridor at its core. Your chauffeur is positioned at the correct pickup zone based on your address — no extra fee for any zone. Curbside pickup is standard; hotel lobby meet-and-greet is available as a $25 add-on.

Pickup — Times Square Departure

Pickup from any hotel porte cochère, theater stage door, restaurant, residence, or corporate office. Routing chosen at the moment of pickup based on real-time conditions — the West Side Highway and Lincoln Tunnel for New Jersey and Newark, the Queens-Midtown Tunnel for LaGuardia and JFK, the FDR for downtown and the Brooklyn corridors. Hotel meet-and-greet brings the chauffeur into your lobby with a name placard — recommended for visiting executives, theater guests with multiple parties, and family travel.

Drop-Off — Times Square Arrival

Drop-off at any Times Square address — hotel lobby, theater entrance, restaurant, or office. Show-night drop-offs are timed and routed to deliver guests at the theater 25–35 minutes before curtain, clear of the worst pedestrian congestion. Late-night pickups after curtain-down are pre-staged at a designated cross-street pickup point.

To the Airports

Direct flat-rate transfers from any Times Square address to JFK Terminals 1, 4, 5, 7, and 8; to LaGuardia Terminals A, B, and C; and to Newark Liberty Terminals A, B, and C. Live monitoring of airport conditions guides routing decisions in real time. Teterboro for private aviation is roughly 30–45 minutes via the Lincoln Tunnel. For show-night travelers connecting directly to a flight, we coordinate luggage staging at the hotel during the performance.

Manhattan & the Boroughs

Direct transfers from Times Square to any Manhattan address — Hudson Yards, Chelsea, the West Village, SoHo, Tribeca, the Financial District, the Upper East Side, and the Upper West Side. We drop off at residences, hotels (The Plaza, The Mark, The Carlyle, The Peninsula, The St. Regis, the Baccarat, the Mercer, the Equinox Hotel Hudson Yards), corporate offices, restaurants, and event venues. Brooklyn and Queens drop-offs include DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Williamsburg, and Long Island City — typically routed via the Queens-Midtown Tunnel and the East River bridges depending on conditions.

New Jersey

Direct transfers from Times Square to Hoboken, Jersey City, Newark, Princeton, Short Hills, Morristown, and the Hudson waterfront via the Lincoln Tunnel and Northeast Corridor. Flat-rate pricing with all tolls included.

Westchester, Connecticut, Long Island & the Hamptons

Times Square transfers to Westchester (Scarsdale, White Plains, Rye), Connecticut (Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, Westport), and Long Island including the Hamptons. Hamptons-bound trips typically route via the Midtown Tunnel and the Long Island Expressway, with optional Hampton Jitney transfer-point pickups available. All tolls included in the flat rate regardless of routing.

Executives & Family Travel

Executive transfers, family transportation, and group bookings.

Executive Arrivals

Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series are our recommended vehicles for executives staying at the Westin, Marriott Marquis, InterContinental, or Knickerbocker with meetings across Midtown, Hudson Yards, or Park Avenue. Cabin quiet is particularly valued for sustained calls between meetings, and the chauffeur is briefed in advance on whether the client prefers privacy or assistance. Privacy is the default. Corporate accounts are available for law firms, financial firms, hedge funds, healthcare companies, and real estate firms with recurring travel.

Family Travel

Family Broadway evenings — particularly with multiple generations, theater-curtain timing, and dinner before the show — benefit from our hourly chauffeur structure. The vehicle handles dinner pickup at a Restaurant Row venue, drops at the theater door 25 minutes before curtain, and returns to the marked pickup zone for the post-curtain departure. Premium SUVs (Chevrolet Suburban, Lincoln Navigator, GMC Yukon XL) are sized for families with multiple ages and additional space requirements. Rear-facing, forward-facing, and booster seats are available upon request — book at least 24 hours in advance.

Group & Wedding Transportation

For wedding parties at Times Square hotels, corporate conferences at the Marriott Marquis or Sheraton New York Times Square, theater group bookings, and large family arrivals, multi-vehicle coordination is handled by dispatch. Vehicles arrive at the same hotel window and depart in convoy to any onward destination. The Cadillac Escalade ESV is available for the principal vehicle when statement presence is preferred.

— Hourly Chauffeur

Hourly as-directed service from Times Square.

For travelers based at a Times Square hotel with a full day of city stops — a meeting on Park Avenue, lunch in SoHo, an afternoon in the Financial District, an evening on Broadway — hourly chauffeur service is often the right structure. The vehicle and chauffeur stay with you for the booked duration, eliminating separate reservations between stops. Wait time is included in the hourly rate.

Common Times Square-based hourly itineraries include a dinner-and-Broadway evening (restaurant pickup, theater drop-off, post-curtain return); a day of Midtown business meetings followed by an airport transfer; or a sightseeing block covering the major Manhattan landmarks with the vehicle waiting at each stop. Sedans and SUVs require a 2-hour minimum. Mercedes-Benz S-Class and other specialty vehicles require a 3-hour minimum in NYC. For single-direction transfers, point-to-point flat-rate pricing is typically the more economical structure.

Routing & Traffic

Routing, congestion, and pickup logistics in Times Square.

Standard Routing

Times Square sits at the convergence of Broadway, Seventh Avenue, and 42nd Street — three of the most congested arteries in Manhattan. Pedestrian plazas along Broadway between 42nd and 47th Streets are permanently closed to vehicle traffic, so pickups and drop-offs occur on the cross-streets (43rd, 44th, 45th, 46th, 47th) or on Eighth or Sixth Avenue, depending on your address. Our chauffeurs know which corner serves each major hotel and theater cleanly, including the protected service drives at the Marriott Marquis and Westin.

Peak Hours

Times Square has multiple overlapping peak periods. Weekday morning rush (7–9 AM) affects airport departures, particularly to LaGuardia and Newark. Theater curtain-up (7–8 PM Tuesday through Saturday, with 2 PM matinees Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday) creates predictable Midtown congestion. Theater curtain-down (10–11 PM) creates a 30-minute pickup peak in the immediate Times Square perimeter. We build buffer time into pickup windows during peak periods and recommend a longer cushion for show-night airport transfers.

Pickup Locations in NYC

We pick up from every major Times Square hotel — Marriott Marquis (45th between Broadway & 8th), Westin (43rd & 8th), Hilton Times Square (42nd between 7th & 8th), Crowne Plaza (49th & Broadway), Renaissance (47th & 7th), InterContinental (44th & Broadway), Knickerbocker (42nd & Broadway), Paramount (46th & 8th), Hyatt Centric (45th & 6th), Sheraton New York Times Square (53rd & 7th), New York Marriott Marquis service drive, and any specified residential or corporate address in the surrounding grid.

Enter pickup address, drop-off address, date, and time. Specify any special instructions including child seats, hotel lobby meet-and-greet, or theater curtain-time coordination.

02

Available vehicles and total fare display before payment. For show-night reservations, departure time is built backward from curtain. Driver details arrive 24 hours before pickup; chauffeurs arrive 15 minutes early as standard.

Round Trip or Account

Multi-stop hourly itineraries and round-trip airport reservations can be booked together. Recurring travel can be billed under a corporate account with consolidated billing and priority dispatch.

Many clients book a dinner-and-Broadway evening with a single hourly reservation; or a hotel-to-airport transfer combined with the return arrival earlier in the week. Multi-leg itineraries — for example, a Times Square pickup with onward Princeton or Hamptons drop-off, or a hotel pickup followed by a multi-stop Midtown business day — are coordinated directly through dispatch. For urgent or last-minute reservations, contact dispatch at +1 212-875-5212 or booking@ridesoho.com.

— Frequently Asked

Times Square car service questions.

The questions our dispatchers get most often. Don’t see yours? Call us — we answer twenty-four hours a day.

Off-peak: roughly 45–60 minutes via the Queens-Midtown Tunnel and the Long Island Expressway. During peak hours (4–8 PM weekdays, Friday afternoons especially), expect 60–90 minutes depending on conditions. Our chauffeurs monitor traffic live and route around bottlenecks via the FDR or Williamsburg Bridge alternatives where possible.

Flat-rate pricing based on destination and vehicle class for point-to-point transfers; hourly rates for as-directed service with a 2-hour minimum. All available vehicles and total fares are visible before checkout — no surge pricing, no end-of-trip add-ons. All bridge and tunnel tolls are included in the flat rate.

Yes. Any route involving a tolled crossing — the Queens-Midtown Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, the East River bridges where tolls apply, or the airport access roads — is covered in your flat rate. There is no separate charge added at the end of the trip.

Curbside at your hotel's pickup zone is standard. Hotels with porte cochères (Marriott Marquis, Westin, Sheraton New York Times Square, InterContinental, Knickerbocker) accommodate direct lobby pickup. For an additional $25, our optional hotel meet-and-greet brings the chauffeur into the lobby with a name placard — recommended for first-time visitors, family travel, and large groups.

Yes. Pre-show drop-off is timed to deliver guests at the theater 25–35 minutes before curtain. Post-show pickup is pre-staged at a designated cross-street location (typically 45th, 46th, or 47th depending on which theater) clear of the immediate post-curtain pedestrian congestion. For dinner-and-show evenings, hourly chauffeur structure usually makes more sense than separate reservations.

The chauffeur waits at your designated pickup location. Standard wait time is included; extended wait time bills at the prevailing hourly rate. For airport departures, we recommend confirming pickup time the night before to build appropriate buffer.

Yes. We handle airport arrivals into Times Square hotels with the same flat-rate structure, all tolls included. Flight tracking and curbside or meet-and-greet pickup are standard for airport-to-Times Square transfers.

Yes. Rear-facing, forward-facing, and booster seats are available upon request — $15 per seat. Book at least 24 hours in advance, particularly for family Broadway evenings and large family transfers.

Premium SUVs (Suburban, Navigator, Yukon XL) and the Cadillac Escalade ESV accommodate substantial luggage volume. For hotel checkouts with multiple suitcases per guest, book SUV class. The chauffeur handles loading from the hotel bell desk.

Yes. Teterboro transfers from Times Square via the Lincoln Tunnel typically run 30–45 minutes off-peak. Multiple FBOs (Meridian, Signature, Jet Aviation) served — specify FBO at booking.

Yes. Law firms, financial firms, hedge funds, healthcare companies, and real estate firms with recurring transportation can establish corporate accounts with consolidated billing and priority dispatch. Hotel-based recurring clients (executives on extended stays at Times Square hotels) are also welcome.
