Hourly, or two transfers?
Both work. Which one is right depends on whether anyone knows when the event will actually end.
Book Hourly
When the end time is a guess.
Baseball, tennis and any event that can run into extra innings, tiebreaks or overtime. Also when you’re a group, when there’s dinner before, or when you simply don’t want to think about it. The chauffeur stays; the vehicle is yours.
Book Two Transfers
When the curtain falls on time.
Theater, opera, ballet and concerts with a fixed running time. Book the drop-off and a return pickup at a set time. Usually the lower cost, and it works well when the schedule is genuinely predictable.
Our Recommendation
Stadiums, hourly. Theaters, either.
At Yankee Stadium, Citi Field, MetLife and the US Open, hourly is worth it — end times move and venue traffic is severe. At Lincoln Center or a Broadway theater, two transfers are usually enough.

Event transportation, explained.
Will my chauffeur wait during the game or concert?
Yes, when booked hourly. Your chauffeur and vehicle remain at the venue for the duration of the event and are in position at your agreed pickup point as it ends.
Should I book hourly or two separate transfers for an event?
Book hourly when the end time is unpredictable — baseball, tennis and anything that can go to overtime — or when you are travelling as a group or adding dinner. Two separate transfers usually cost less and work well for theater, opera and concerts with a fixed running time.
What is included in hourly service?
Hourly service holds one chauffeur and vehicle for the duration of your booking, including waiting time at the venue. In New York City, 12 miles per hour are included.
Where will the car pick me up after an event?
A specific pickup point is agreed in advance, chosen to avoid the main exit crowd. Venue traffic plans change by event, so the location is confirmed before your trip.
Can you take a group to a game?
Yes. A Sprinter carries up to 14 passengers, and larger groups can be coordinated across multiple vehicles on a single reservation.
Do you provide transportation for the US Open?
Yes. We serve the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows throughout the tournament, including day and night sessions.
Is there surge pricing after a large event?
No. Your rate is set when you book. It does not change because twenty thousand people left a venue at the same time.
Can you coordinate transportation for a corporate event or gala?
Yes. RideSoHo coordinates up to 100 vehicles on a single reservation with one point of contact.
How far in advance should I book for an event?
As early as possible. Major games, concerts and tournament sessions book heavily, and advance notice allows the pickup point to be planned properly.
